We are thrilled to be collaborating with Heather Gordon on a new limited collection of low tables in oxidized oak and inlaid brass. Based on Heather's visual mapping, this latest exploration is a representation of the atomic properties of the element sulphur. The work was designed specifically for the show 'ALCHEMY' at Light Art + Design, opening Friday March 24th, 6-9pm.
We are currently seeking a part time production assistant to join the team. Must have prior experience in woodworking or cabinetry, and must be very detail oriented.
If interested, email email@example.com with your portfolio and resume.
We are thrilled to announce we will be heading back to New York City for design week 2016. We will be showing both new works and some of our favorites at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair, May 14-17. For more information on all of the events surrounding design week, check out NYCxDESIGN.
ICFF features what’s best and what’s next in contemporary design, and is the North American platform for international design. We are excited and honored to be exhibiting alongside some amazing designers and manufacturers, and looking forward to meeting new designers as well as catching up with familiar faces.
We are thrilled that our Maxwell chair has made the pages of the February issue of Dwell Magazine! The story highlights nine designers across the United States and their work, and we are honored to be included in this list.
We are grateful for all of the support we have received along the way, and for the opportunity to work with some amazing clients who give us the freedom to create.
To celebrate, we are releasing the Maxwell chair in natural oak and chocolate oiled leather. The new finish option will be ready just in time for this month's Thirst for Architecture from NC Modernist Houses, January 21st from6-8 pm. We're happy to be hosting NCMH for a second year and look forward to hearing about everyone's projects and plans for the new year.
Best wishes for a great 2016!
We know it's a busy time of the year, but there are a couple great design events that shouldn't be missed.
For the third year, we are excited to be a part of METAL at Light Art + Design. We will have a selection of our small goods, as well as few new furniture pieces like the Faraday chair in natural oiled oak and leather in the show. The opening is December 4th - hope to see you there.
We are also looking forward to hosting the NC Modernist Houses' Thirst for Architecture in the studio January 21st. NCMH always throws a good party, and it's great time to chat about modern design and architecture.
While we mostly focus on larger furniture pieces, during the holidays we spend some time designing table top items, and this year is no exception. We're excited to have both our Barge serving boards and Horizon coasters in the shop, and also thrilled to have a fantastic collection of jewelry by Mike Newins available. Made from a variety of mixed metals and wood, these pieces are delightfully simple in design, but still fun to give or get.
We will have the shop open through the holidays, with free shipping on all items.
